Moving on to Fulham, Marco Silva has been in charge since his appointment just before the 2021/22 EFL Championship season. In his first season at the club, he led them to an immediate return to the Premier League after winning the second-tier title with 90 points from their 46 matches overall.

The 2022/23 campaign was their first back in the Premier League, with Silva’s side re-establishing themselves in the English Top Flight very comfortably. Their grand total of 52 points earned them a very creditable and solid 10thplace finish.

Last season, in 2023/24, the Cottagers earned 47 points, which was enough for the West London outfit to avoid relegation comfortably once more, this time with a 13th-place finish.

These two clubs have gone head to head in all competitions a total of 70 times, and it is the Toffees who collected the most wins in this time with 31 compared with the Cottagers’ total of 24. There have been 15 draws between these two teams as of the time of writing.
