The Old Trafford Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

The dress code at the Old Trafford Stadium does not apply to those who are under the age of 12. Furthermore, the club has the right to refuse entry to any visitors who disobey these rules:

Manchester United, led by their Portuguese Head Coach Ruben Amorim, are set to go toe to toe with Graham Potter’s West Ham United at Old Trafford in the 2024/25 Premier League season. With the club having ambitions of securing European Football, and securing all three points against the Hammers will be crucial for United.

Erik Ten Hag was dismissed by Manchester United in October 2024, with Ruben Amorim taking over as his successor at the club, joining from Sporting CP from Portugal’s top flight.

The 2022/23 season was former Head Coach Ten Hag’s first in charge of Manchester United, and it was a successful one, with him leading the club to a 3rd place finish in the Premier League table after securing a total of no less than 75 points from their 38 matches – qualification for the UEFA Champions League had been secured. However, there was a very positive ending to the season, when goals from Alejandro Garnacho (30’) and Kobbie Mainoo (39’) secured them a famous 2 – 1 win against local rivals Manchester City to win the 2024 FA Cup. This was the 6th time that the club had won this in its illustrious history.

This win in the FA Cup Final from last season saw them secure qualification for the 2024/25 Europa League.

New Boss Amorim will be hoping to return the club to the Champions League, whilst targeting trophies in other competitions over the course of the 2024/25 season.

Moving on to West Ham United, their current Head Coach Graham Potter’s appointment as the Julen Lopetegui’s successor at the London Club was back on Thursday 9th January 2025.

Potter’s successful career in first team management began in Sweden with Ostersund, who he led successfully to as many as three promotions. His time with the club also included a run that saw them get as far as the Round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League in the 2017/18 season, when they were defeated by Arsenal, despite defeating the Gunners 2 – 1 at the Emirates in spectacular fashion. He then had further success at Swansea City (2018 – 2019) and Brighton (2019 – 2022), with his most recent managerial role being with Chelsea from 2022 to 2023, before joining West Ham in 2025.

Last season, West Ham finished 9th in the Premier League table after earning 52 points from 38 matches in their most recent campaign in the top flight.

These two clubs have played head-to-head in competitive fixtures 155 times, with United having the superior record of 74 victories compared with the Hammers’ total of 49. As of the time of writing, there have been 32 draws between these two teams.
