The London Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

At the London Stadium, the dress code is smart casual. We advise our guests to follow this guide of what type of clothes to wear on the day. Please be aware that these rules do not apply to those under the age of 12.

• Tracksuits are not permitted.
• Only home football shirts are permitted; if our guests arrive in ‘away’ football shirts, we have the right to refuse entry.
• Jeans and trainers are allowed.

We would like to make our guests aware that oversized bags are prohibited when on arrival to the stadium, and small clutch purses are allowed.

You could potentially be denied entry if the dress code is not met.

Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham will welcome local rivals Chelsea, led by their Italian Head Coach Enzo Maresca, to the London Stadium in the 2024/25 Premier League season. The Hammers want to return to European Football, and a win against the Blues will help them significantly in their efforts to do so this campaign.

From 2019 to 2024, for 5 years, David Moyes successfully led the Hammers to European Glory thanks to a 2 – 1 win in the 2022 UEFA Europa Conference League Final against Italian Serie A side Fiorentina in Prague. Goals from Said Benrahma (62’ – Penalty) & Jarrod Bowen (90’) secured the historic win.

Last season, the Scottish Manager left the club after a 9th-place finish in the Premier League (with 52 points) and a 3 – 1 aggregate defeat over two legs in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League Quarter Finals against current German Bundesliga Champions Bayer Leverkusen.

Julen Lopetegui then took over, officially succeeding Moyes at the London Stadium on 23rd May 2024. The Spaniard has previously managed clubs such as Sevilla, Real Madrid, Spain, and Wolves, and in 2020, he was the Manager who led Sevilla to UEFA Europa League glory, beating Italian Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan in that year’s Final.

Moving on to Chelsea, previous Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino managed to lead the Blues to a 6th-place finish with 63 points, securing them a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League for the 2024/25 season after Manchester United won the 2024 FA Cup. The Argentine was dismissed at the end of last season in favour of Enzo Maresca, whose Blues appointment was announced on Monday, 3rd June 2024.

The Italian Head Coach had just led Leicester City to an immediate return to the Premier League after winning the EFL Championship title with 97 points accumulated from their 46 matches in the second tier. They finished just a point ahead of runners-up Ipswich Town.

These two clubs have played each other in all competitions 122 times, and as of the time of writing, the Blues have a superior record of 55 victories compared with the Hammers’ total of 44. There have also been 23 draws between these teams.

West Ham United and Chelsea are set to go toe to toe at the London Stadium in the 2024/25 Premier League season. This game is set to be intense and enthralling, with a fantastic atmosphere to boot.
