The London Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

At the London Stadium, the dress code is smart casual. We advise our guests to follow this guide of what type of clothes to wear on the day. Please be aware that these rules do not apply to those under the age of 12.

• Tracksuits are not permitted.
• Only home football shirts are permitted; if our guests arrive in ‘away’ football shirts, we have the right to refuse entry.
• Jeans and trainers are allowed.

We would like to make our guests aware that oversized bags are prohibited when on arrival to the stadium, and small clutch purses are allowed.

You could potentially be denied entry if the dress code is not met.

West Ham United will welcome Nuno Espirito Santo’s Nottingham Forest side to the London  Stadium. This game will be crucial in the race for European Qualification, and a win for Graham Potter’s side will bring them ever closer to realising their ambition for the campaign.

Soon after the departure of Julen Lopetegui from the London Club, Graham Potter’s appointment as West Ham’s new Head Coach was announced back on Thursday 9th January 2025, succeeding the Spaniard.

Potter’s successful managerial career began with Swedish Club Ostersund, who he enjoyed great success with during his almost 10 years with the club, with his 7 year reign taking place from 2011 to 2018. He led them three promotions, remarkably taking them from the fourth tier all the way up to the top flight of football in Sweden, which is the Allsvenskan.

The Englishman also led them to a historic victory in the Final of the Svenska Cupen, which is the Swedish equivalent of the English FA Cup, in the 2016/17 campaign. In that Final, they were able to emerge with an emphatic to a 4 – 1 victory against Norrkoping. This saw them secure qualification for the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League in sensational fashion. They would go on to be eliminated over two legs by Arsenal in the Round of 32.

He then had a short but very positive spell with Welsh Club Swansea City, who had just been relegated to the Championship, taking charge of them from 2018 to 2019. This was before Potter was then appointed by Brighton after the dismissal of Chris Hughton. In his three year spell with the Seagulls between 2019 and 2022, he led them to a first ever victory against Manchester United in the their entire history, whilst also battling consistently for European Football. Potter also led them to their best ever Premier League points total of 51 points to secure a 9th place finish – the previous record had been beaten by a margin of 10 points.

Then followed a short stint at Chelsea, taking charge of the West London Club from 8th September 2022 to 2nd April 2023.

Moving on to Nottingham Forest, their Portuguese Head Coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, took charge of Forest on 20th December 2023. After taking over from Steve Cooper, he took them to safety in the Premier League with a 17th-place finish with 32 points from their 38 matches overall. Six points separated them from the danger of relegation in the end.

These two clubs have gone head to head in all competitions 121 times, and the Hammers have the superior record of 48 victories compared to Forest’s total of 47 wins to date. And, as of the time of writing, there have been 26 draws between these two teams.
