England and Fiji are set to go head to head once more, this time in the 2025 edition of the much anticipated Autumn Internationals later this year. More specifically, these two nations will be facing each other in what promises to be an exciting and entertaining fixture at the iconic Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 8th November 2025.

Current Head Coach Steve Borthwick took over as England Senior Team Head Coach all the way back on Monday 19th December 2022, where he would take over from his predecessor Eddie Jones. Jones had left his post after 7 years in the hot seat.

The most recent Autumn Internationals that England took part in came back in November 2024, when results included a particularly memorable, emphatic, and ruthless 59 – 14 victory over Japan at Twickenham. As for Fiji, they too played a part in these internationals, but they lost two of their matches, being defeated either 57 – 17 to Scotland and 52 – 17 to Ireland.

The Flying Fijians did manage to take home a victory though, beating Wales 19 – 24 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, which was the first time that they had ever beaten Wales in a competitive international fixture.

England and Fiji first met in a competitive international fixture back in 1973 in what was an England Tour of Fiji & New Zealand on 28th August that year. It was a narrow and highly competitive 12 – 13 victory for England that day.

Overall, England have won all of their competitive clashes to date. The most recent win for Steve Borthwick’s team was a 30 – 24 victory in the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
