Stadio Olimpico
Italy, led by their Argentinian Head Coach Gonzalo Quesada, are going to go toe to toe with Steve Borthwick and his England side during the 2026 Guinness Six Nations Championship at the iconic and historic Stadio Olimpico, located in the famous Rome, capital of Italy. The game itself will be taking place on Saturday 7th March 2026, with the contest set to kick-off at 14:10pm.
In this much anticipated contest, the hosts will be looking to emerge with what would be a statement victory against a side that finished second in the 2025 Championship, narrowly missing out on the title to France. Victory would also boost Italy’s chances of finishing higher this time around as well.
Enjoy the action in some style with an Italy v England 2026 Guinness Six Nations Hospitality Package.
Official Italy v England Hospitality Packages – Guinness Six Nations 2026
Gonzalo Quesada’s Italy and Steve Borthwick’s England are set to go toe to toe in what promises to be a competitive and thrilling contest during the 2026 Guinness Six Nations at the historic and iconic Stadio Olimpico in Rome, the famous capital of Italy. The game itself will be taking place at 14:10pm on Saturday 7th March 2026.
The atmosphere at the Stadio Olimpico for this much anticipated game is going to be immense, and the game itself looks set to be enthralling with plenty at stake for both teams. Italy is looking for what would most certainly be a historic result against Steve Borthwick’s men, and it would be a statement to the rest of the nations in the 2026 Championship. This would also provide them with fresh momentum going into the remainder of their matches as they look to improve on their finish in the 2025 Six Nations.
Following the departure of their previous Head Coach Kieran Crowley back on 31st December 2023, it was the incumbent boss Gonzalo Quesada who was chosen and officially appointed as his successor for Italy just a couple of days later on 1st January 2024, so by the time that the 2026 edition of the highly prestigious Guinness Six Nations take place, he will have been in charge for more than two years.
The Argentine’s first Six Nations Championship in charge was the 2024 edition, which saw his side come away with a fifth place finish after winning just two of their five games in total. These victories came in games that saw them go up against the likes of Scotland (31 – 29) and Wales (21 – 24), whilst they did get a 13 – 13 draw against France as well.
Their defeats in this particular Six Nations Championship came against the likes of England (24 – 27) and Ireland (36 – 0). Then came the 2025 Guinness Six Nations Championship, which was his second in charge, and was also the most recent edition of this competition to have taken place ahead of the 2026 competition.
It was to be another 5th place finish in the 2025 Championship, but this time they were unfortunately only able to come away victorious in just one of their five matches. This sole triumph came in a game against Wales at the Stadio Olimpico, where they were able to come away with a comfortable and deserved 22 – 15 win in the end.
When it comes to losses in the 2025 Six Nations, these came against the likes of Scotland (31 – 19), France (24 – 73), England (47 – 24), and Ireland (17 – 22).
Italy’s defeat against England in the 2025 tournament was their most recent competitive encounter, and they will be looking for a historic first ever victory against England having never beaten them in their 32 competitive encounters to date.
The first ever competitive game to have taken place between Italy and England took place back on 8th October 1991 at Twickenham Stadium during the 1991 Rugby World Cup, where the hosts were able to come away as deserved 36 – 6 winners in the end.
You and all of the other Italy fans will not want to miss this much anticipated fixture between Italy and England during the Guinness Six Nations Championship in March 2026. Experience it all in some style with an Eventmasters Hospitality Package.
